Yosemite, Mammoth and Death Valley

My mother came out for our spring trip the weekend before Mother's Day.  Our plan was to see the La Brea Tar Pits, take in the sights at Yosemite, then head over to Mammoth to see the ski resort and finally experience Death Valley.  It was a rather ambitious plan, but we pulled it off.  Once again we both need some additional time to recover.  The following webpages detail our plan for the day, followed by a brief description of what actually occurred.
